Welcome to the Byron Road area parking engagement page. This consultation has now CLOSED.

Harrow Council's engagement on Byron Road ran for six weeks from 13 March to 23 April 2023.

The Byron Road area parking issues review will look at any parking issues in the following roads (currently Zone CA) plus three roads currently not in any zone:

  • Byron Road
  • Ronart Street
  • Stuart Road
  • Warham Road
  • Archery Close
  • Avondale Road
  • Lorne Road
  • Locket Road
  • Spencer Road
  • Montrose Road
  • Aberdeen Road
  • Harkett Close
  • Byron Road
  • Warham Road

The aims of this consultation are to consult everyone who lives within the agreed consultation area to ask if they are experiencing any parking problems and whether they would support:

• EXTENDING zone (J) operational 7am to Midnight to include all or parts of the following roads currently in zone (CA): Byron Road, Ronart Street, Stuart Road, Warham Road, Archery Close, Avondale Road, Lorne Road, Locket Road, Spencer Road, Montrose Road & Aberdeen Road,

• EXTENDING zone (J) operational 7am to Midnight to include all or parts of the following uncontrolled roads: Harkett Close, Byron Road, Warham Road,

This consultation will enable the council to identify what the parking issues are and, if necessary, introduce appropriate measures which will help control and regulate parking by removing commuter parking and freeing up road space for the local residents.

We’ll use the feedback to to gather information from local residents and businesses about parking problems on your road to help the council decide what measures if any are taken forward to the next stage.

The next stage is the statutory consultation stage, when residents and businesses are re-consulted on the proposed parking controls to be taken forward.

We are currently at the informal Stage One process. No decisions have yet been made.
