How are the locations for the humps chosen?
The hump locations are chosen by the consultants designing the scheme, to ensure adequate spacing as per the guidance and site suitability (e.g. avoiding direct conflict with resident dropped kerbs). Humps do not impact on parking capacity as you can continue to park on top of them.
Are speed limit repeater signs provided in a 20mph zone?
In a 20mph zone, we generally only mark 20mph roundels on the carriageway rather than placing repeater signs.
