Consultation has concluded
Welcome to the Merlin Crescent area parking review engagement page.
London Borough of Harrow's engagement on Merlin Crescent area parking review will run from 28th September 2023 to 8th November 2023. This has now closed.
The aims of this consultation are to consult everyone who lives within the agreed consultation area and to ask them if they are experiencing any parking problems and whether they would support:
The extension of existing zone (BR) operational Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm to include Merlin Crescent, Bransgrove Road, Newgale Gardens, St. David's Drive, St. Bride's Avenue; or
A new controlled parking zone operational Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm to include Merlin Crescent, Bransgrove Road, Newgale Gardens, St. David's Drive, St. Bride's Avenue; or.
A new controlled parking zone operational Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm to include Merlin Crescent, Bransgrove Road, Newgale Gardens, St. David's Drive, St. Bride's Avenue.
An option will be given to extend the operational hours to include Saturday for the above options.
This consultation will enable the council to identify what the parking issues are and, if necessary, introduce appropriate measures which will help control and regulate parking by removing commuter parking and freeing up road space for the local residents.
We will use the feedback to gather information from local residents and businesses about the parking problems being experienced on your road to help the council decide what measures if any are taken forward to the next stage.
The next stage is the statutory consultation stage, when residents and businesses are re-consulted on the proposed parking controls to be taken forward.
We are currently at the informal Stage One process. No decisions have yet been made.
