Welcome to the Oral Health in Harrow engagement page.

The Harrow Public Health team are doing work to better understand the health of our community's teeth and mouths, and what needs to be done to make them healthier.

We need your help to do this. We have created surveys to hear your thoughts, experiences and ideas. There is a separate survey for:

  • Residents of Harrow
  • Carers and care professionals
  • Dentists and Dental Professionals

The surveys will run for 6 weeks from 3 March to 23:59 on 14 April. Please find the surveys at the bottom of this page.

For the residents survey

We would like to ask the following people to fill in our survey:

  • Children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Children Looked After
  • Rough sleepers
  • Refugees and asylum seekers (including people on resettlement schemes)

For all children or anyone who is unable to fill in the survey themselves, we ask that a parent, legal guardian or carer (for example, a foster carer for a Child Looked After) does it on their behalf. If you do this, please also fill in the survey again for yourself as a carer.

For the carers and care professionals survey

We want to hear from carers (paid or unpaid, like parents, young or sibling carers) and care professionals who are involved in the care of:

  • Children and adults with SEND
  • Children Looked After
  • Rough sleepers
  • Refugees and asylum seekers (including people on resettlement schemes)
  • Older adults in care or nursing homes

For the dentist and dental professionals survey

This survey is open to all dentists and dental professionals working in Harrow.

Please also see our privacy notice for all of our surveys here: Oral Health Privacy Notice

Next Steps

The results of this survey will be used by the Harrow Public Health team alongside our community and dental care partners to look at what needs to be done to improve the health of people's teeth and mouths. This will lead to the creation of a local action plan on oral health.

Every response can make a difference. Thank you for taking the time to fill in the survey
