Housing Resident Engagement Strategy
Help shape how we work with residents
The London Borough of Harrow is updating its Housing Resident Engagement Strategy.
The strategy sets out how council tenants, leaseholders and other residents living on or near council housing estates can influence decisions about housing services, neighbourhoods and their communities.
Whether you have been involved before or have never taken part, we want to hear from you.
Your feedback will help us understand:
- what is working well
- what could be improved
- how residents would like to be involved in the future
- what support people may need to get involved
- how we can make sure residents' voices help shape decisions
We are committed to listening to residents and using your feedback to help develop the new resident engagement strategy. We will share the results of this survey and explain how your feedback has influenced the final strategy.
How to take part
Take our survey below. It takes around 10 minutes to complete and is open until Sunday 15 November 2026.

Why resident involvement matters
Resident involvement means giving residents opportunities to have their say and help shape decisions about their homes, neighbourhoods and housing services.
As your social landlord, we must:
listen to tenants' views when making decisions about housing services
explain how residents' feedback has helped shape our decisions
provide a range of ways for tenants to get involved
support tenants who want to help improve housing services
make sure opportunities are accessible to everyone.
Our strategy will be developed in line with the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing.
